We report on our performance to a number of organisations, including our regulator Ofwat, which monitors water companies to ensure they are providing a good and efficient service at a fair price.

Every year, we send Ofwat information about our performance. This is known as the June return. The June return for 2010-11 is also available on our own website.

We also compile annual sustainability data for a Water UK report, which shows how the industry is performing in a number of areas.

Our water quality test results are reported to the Drinking Water Inspectorate to ensure they comply with the stringent Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations.

We also report to the Environment Agency, which monitors how we perform in meeting the environmental standards set by both UK and European legislation.
