Alistair was 11 when he was nominated for his award. Despite suffering from an autistic spectrum disorder, Alistair has made fantastic progress through the swimming stages and is now working on level 7 of the teaching National Plan. He is an extremely popular member of the class and his enthusiasm transfers to the other swimmers in his class. His teacher says he is a joy to teach.
