The serious floods in recent years have also highlighted the need to protect our water and wastewater treatment works and pumping stations from being put out of action in floods.

We have reviewed all our sites to determine:

• Risk Screening - Which sites are vulnerable to flooding?
• Risk Analysis - How would customers be affected?
• Risk Management - What is the best way to protect our sites?

Our priority now is to work with the industry regulator Ofwat to secure funding to protect our most critical sites from flooding. This will ensure we can continue to provide robust water and wastewater services to our customers.
