Essential work to repair 3km of ageing sewer pipes in Southsea is progressing well.

The work is part of our wastewater renovation programme which aims to ensure the sewer system network in Southsea continues to work effectively.

Sewer renovation work began in September following CCTV surveys and sewer cleaning work carried out in August.

• Craneswater Avenue
• Somerset Road
• Beach Road
• Parkstone Avenue
• Burgoyne Road

Ongoing Work:
• Bembridge Crescent
• Florence Road
• Malvern Road
• Clarence Road (upper Section)
• Nettlecombe Avenue

Scheduled work:
• Brandon Road
• Whitwell Road
• Granada Road
• Clarendon Road
• St. Simons Road
• Kirkstall Road
 
The work is being carried out by our contractor, Clancy Docwra, and is expected to complete by March 2012.
