Quick way to pay your bill by phone - 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Southern Water is offering customers a secure, quick and easy way to pay their bills over the telephone.

Our Voice Self-Service (VSS) system allows you to pay by debit or credit card 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also tell us you are moving home, set up a direct debit, apply for a payment card, request a copy of your bill or tell us if you have recently paid your bill or will be paying it soon.

This automated service uses speech recognition, so there is no need to input numbers on the telephone keypad.

To take advantage of this service, call Southern Water’s dedicated credit and debit card line on 0845 270 1508. Alternatively, call the Payment Enquiries Call Centre on 0845 272 0845 and select Option 0.

You will need your payment reference number and credit or debit card to hand to use this service. The payment reference number can be found at the top right-hand corner of your bill, next to your customer reference number.

Please note we do not accept payment by Amex or Diners Club cards.
