Southern Water has a long and successful history of working with The Prince's Trust to help improve the lives of young people.
The national charity was set up by HRH Prince Charles in 1976 following his retirement from the services.
The Prince's charity helps disadvantaged young people overcome some of the barriers they face in society to gain confidence and social and employment skills.
Southern Water has successfully run more than 30 personal development programmes for the Prince's Trust in Kent and Sussex.
Now, the company supports the trust through its achievement events.
In 2007, we sponsored the leadership awards at the annual Celebrate Success presentation held at Brands Hatch, when young people were recognised for overcoming obstacles to achieve success in all areas of life.
We also support the work of educational charity Creating Futures in Sussex, and Hampshire Fire and Rescue who both run Prince's Trust programmes in their areas.
